So today is the last day of this journal.  It was time to move on, and with the password business over the last two weeks, I resolved to make the change asap.

My new journal will be friends only, and I'll be adding everyone later tonight because work interwebz is slow.  Maybe I'll even post more.  I am going to create a new photobucket for Zack and my pictures, too.  So I can crosspost and such.

My WTF of the day:

I have had to change my lj password twice in the last week because suddenly I can't remember the password I have been using for 3 years?  Right...

Work has kept me incredibly busy - We alternate weekends off and with the holiday and me being the n00b, I have been having split days off/working weekends the last 2 weeks.  It will regulate after next weekend.  40 minute drives + 9 hours at work = not so much personal time. 

Zack and I drove to Seaside on Wednesday.  It was fun, and we stayed at his uncle's place overnight so that we could do more in town.  We went to Astoria, Seaside, and Indian Beach (So beautiful!!).  We are going to go again later this month when it's hotter and we can play in the water.

We went to the Molalla river when we got home on Thursday because it was too fucking hot and we promised Walter we would take him swimming.   We drove up a bit and found a BITCHIN' camp spot that was inhabited by some cool kids.  Great swimming hole, super private.  We all traded numbers after hanging out for a couple of hours. 

Worked yesterday and today, through Wednesday.  Two days off, work Saturday, Sunday off.  Work M-F, then have a weekend off.

The highlight of my weekend?  We bought an air conditioner.

My kitteh is vicious.  She caught 4 (FOUR!) meeses over the weekend.  Granted, 3 of them were babies but she's still my tigress.

And your "Glad that wasn't me" moment of the day -

Last night I was particularly gassy, laying in bed with my sweetie.  He's so sweet, offering to get some Gas-X to calm the stank.  I swallow the pills and notice immediately that they are hard tablets, not the soft gels that I expected.  I immediately checked the package and noticed with dismay that he had just fed me a double dose of LAXATIVE.  Yeah.  Laxative.  Double dose.  Fun times!

This morning, Zack is making me cinnamon french toast for breakfast.  I picked up some orange juice, and perhaps I'll have some fresh raspberries on the side.

I still can't believe that I am leaving for Chicago in...4 hours?  It still feels totally unreal.  I am fucking BROKE until I get paid, but...I hope it's worth it.  I think it's worth it. 

Blah.  I used to love flying.  This time I'm all nervous.

My last day at Telelanguage was yesterday.

I got my last paycheck today (and didn't overdraft - yay!).

I am able to give back to my family - I bought and am paying for a line on my cell plan for my gramma.

I fly to Chicago on Sunday.

I got a $50 Macy's gift card to spend.

It's GORGEOUS outside.

And we have a car for the day.

Today is good.

Tonight is $1 vegan corn dog/PBR night at The Hungry Tiger Too (they have a regular menu and a seperate vegan one).  Delicious!

Melody and I are going to get pedicures at the nail place by my house.  Not deluxe by any means, but clean and cheap (like your mom!).

I leave for Chicago NEXT Sunday.  I'll be so lonely for a whole week.

Nothing really of interest.  I'm just bored, and waiting for my turn in Scrabble.

I have 2 weeks left at my soul-damning job.
2 weeks until I never have to deal with an evil manager.
2 weeks until I don't work with nimrod assholes.
2 weeks until I start a GREAT job making lotsa cash.


Ah.  2 weeks.

Three turns in Scrabble and not a single fucking vowel.

Assholes.

OK.  So, I think we've decided to stay here for awhile longer instead of moving. 

We are going to pay off all my debt in the meantime so that there will be NO problems next time we move. We are going to switch bedrooms (move into a MUCH larger one) where we can set up and have like our own little studio apartment.  We are going to spend a little of our savings on some furniture (dressers and shelves) so that we can be organized and have room and be COMFORTABLE.

I am sad, but ok with this.  Moving scares me, especially if I lose MY job, or get garnished, or any of the what ifs that are very possible.  And who knows, it could take Zack another 6 months to find a job.

Yeah. It'll be ok.  And hopefully we'll be able to be set and buy a car sooner, and STAY ON THE EASTSIDE.

(I didn't want to move to Beaverton).

Yay!  I still get to see Noah all the time! :-)

And I got the same denial letter from Wells Fargo just now.

And right after I was told I couldn't get an apartment without a co-signer, I got the email that I didn't get the job.

No one wants to approve me without a co-signer.

*sigh*

On Saturday night, I had an erotic dream about a cheeseburger.

That being said, I still haven't heard back about the job.  I was told SOMEONE would call me, whether I got it or not.  I have an ulcer, I swear.

About 2 months ago Zack washed his brand new I-Phone, and we plugged it in today after months of laying out and it works too.

So, a few weeks ago I washed my I-Pod.  I was really upset, didn't want to talk about it.

Well, I dried it out for a few weeks and it's just been sitting on the speaker in the living room.  Well, tonight I decided to plug it in, see if it still worked.

Motherfucker it did.

I am so happy.  There are a few dings now, but whatevs.   So hooray! :-D
